Are you attending the NASBP 2024 Fall East Meeting in New Orleans, LA? Join Women In Surety Southeast for a fun social event sponsored by Parrot Surety Services!

Meet at Voodoo Lounge, 718 N Rampart St, New Orleans, LA 70116 at 2 pm for a 2-hour tour. Refreshments will be provided. Wear comfortable shoes.

About the tour:

Your Tremé & Music Tour will be filled with tales of African American and Creole history and music history. The Tremé was originally settled by Free People of Color, often referred to as Creoles, whose unique experiences helped shape the civil rights movement. Today, Tremé is home to artists, musicians, and craftsmen and is a living, breathing, joyful piece of New Orleans history.

The tour covers a walking distance of approximately one mile. It is a walking tour, so remember to wear comfortable shoes! At the halfway point, we will take a short 10-minute comfort break at the Treme’ Cafe for refreshment and restroom needs. Cameras are welcome on the tour, but no videotaping, please.
